This is the calculation of the rentable area (RBA) divided by the usable area. Usable areas refer to common spaces such as shared restrooms, corridors, and lobbies, while RBA refers to the total net rentable square footage in the building. This is usually added to each tenant’s rented space in order to determine their total rent.
