The (VEZ) Virginia Enterprise Zone program was changed to allow the (JCG) Job Creation Grant to receive priority in funding. This revision charges the (DHCD) Department of Housing and Community Development with paying the JCG; therefore, this way they won’t be prorated. The remaining amount will then be assigned to the (RPIGS) Real Property Investment Grant, and the amount paid to each applicant should be prorated if the grant request surpasses the remaining amount of funding.
